‘Parasyte’ season 1 premiered on October 9, 2014, and with a total of 24 episodes, it finished airing on March 29, 2015. If you've seen the Parasytes trying to blend into the society and destroying it from the inside, it's the opposite for the Terra Formars. Now, as a deadly virus reached Earth from Mars, humanity sends an expedition (comprised of highly-capable fighters) to Mars in order to capture some Terra Formars specimens and combat the threat that's looming to destroy humanity. The cockroaches turned into destructive monsters possessing ginormous strength and intellect, as well as hostility, marking them as a major threat to Earth. All was going well and according to plan until a few hundred years later, a terrible thing happened-the cockroaches mutated and evolved to dangerous heights. When science and technology reached the levels capable of exploring Mars and making it a habitable place, humanity sent cockroaches and mosses to start the cycle of life on the planet. Mars-it's the planet known as humanity's next frontier. In either case, both have to struggle and fight for their lives. Kaneki Ken has to deal with his abrupt transition to a ghoul, while Shinichi Izumi has to live, co-exist, and survive with an alien who has merged with his hand. The main similarity comes from the fact that both main characters are unlucky enough to face life-changing events that totally alter their human ways. Will he ever be able to live as a human again? Or will he accept his tragic fate and live as a ghoul? No matter what he chooses, he must deal with the rare scenario of being both a human and a ghoul. When he awakens, he is forced to deal with the ghoulish changes that are taking place within.
The only way to save him is through an urgent organ transplant, with the organs coming from the very ghoul who tried to devour him. A series of unfortunate events leaves him gravely injured. One day, a college kid named Kaneki Ken is on a date that he thinks is going quite well-except for the fact that his date is a ghoul.
